Finals time!

So it's finals time already, under the new leadership of league director Jon Good things are a little different this year in the BPL. Rather than 2 or 3 long seasons there are 4 shorter seasons, each with their own finals series. The four seasons are tallied together at the end of the year to calculate an overall champion for 2007.

This first season will go a long way towards any teams interest in becoming the BPL 2007 champs.

Teams are awarded points for wins and for the number on brand new players in their teams. The Moreton Bay Buggers have 2 new players this season, Michael Kanowski and Nick Coote. At the end of the rounds the teams look like this.

So we have a big preliminary final this Thursday against the UQ Lovers team. It will be hard fought with a week off and a ticket to the Grand Final the price.
